The high school dropout rate for first nations appears to be much higher than non-first nations. Band councils can do something about that.

At least one first nations band in the Metro Vancouver area has started using kids entertainers and performing artists to liven up celebrations at a recent graduation dinner party for preschool, elementary, and high school students.
