Welcome to Simple Spot Vancouver! The following terms of use have been updated and
will be effective as of February 15^st, 2009.

Simple Spot is a community driven classifieds service. The terms of use are designed to
protect the online community of Simple Spot, and the Simple Spot team. We reserve the
right to make any necessary changes to the terms of use. The changes are effective 14
days after the revised Terms of Use are posted on the site. Please help us to create a
safe environment here on Simple Spot as well as in Vancouver. We encourage our users

Simple Spot Services

Our service is primarily intended to provide the Vancouver community with a safe location
to utilize online classified advertising. We provide our users with three main services:

            1. Advertising space
            Our website has been designed to host multiple user generated advertisements.
            These advertisements are intended to be browsed, searched, and viewed by the
            Vancouver community.

            2.  Classification system
            All user generated content enters into a classification system for easy browsing
            and searching.

            3. User accounts
            Users creating accounts are provided with added benefits. Accounts help increase
            safety and efficiency.

Use of Simple Spot

Simple Spot is here to provide a community service; however certain content is prohibited
and will result in proper moderation. To help us maintain a safe environment we encourage
you to do the following:

            - refrain from using inappropriate language
            - post advertisements in their proper categories
            - provide correct contact information
            - don't collect contact information for purposes outside of the Simple Spot classifieds
              service
            - be considerate of the community

The following is prohibited and will be subject to proper moderation:

             - verbal abuse/uncivilized comments
             - advertising stolen goods
             - advertising pyramid schemes, multi-level businesses, spam, scams, or chain letters
             - illegal activities
             - uploading inappropriate images and videos (i.e. porgography, gore)
             - impersonating administrators
             - upload viruses which may interfere or harm with our services

Accounts which partake in any of the prohibited activities listed above will be provided with
one warning before being permanently banned from Simple Spot.

Our website is protected by Mollom. Users who register an account and complete
authentication will bypass Mollom security. Anonymous users will be scanned by Mollom

User Generated Content

Our services consist of content produced by the Simple Spot team and the online user
community. When using our services you agree to allow for proper moderation of your
content when necessary. You agree to allow us to redirect and store your content in our
designated server. Our server which will be storing your data is located at

All user generated advertisements will go through a screening process before they are
submitted to search results. One hour will be necessary to screen advertisements for
fraudulent activity, scams, and unacceptable content. Once the screening process has been
passed, your advertisement can be searched and viewed by the public.

Forums

The Simple Spot Forums is a general discussion board. It is provided to allow for open
discussions on various topics. The opinions and views shared on the forums are not
that of the Simple Spot team, but rather that of the user partaking in the forum discussions.

Our Liability

Majority of the content found on Simple Spot is user generated, therefore we reserve the
right to be absolved from any liabilities which may be held against us due to any of the user
generated content found on our website. You understand that Simple Spot does not control
any of the user content which is posted, and that the full responsibility of the content belongs to
the person from whom it originated. This includes but is not limited to: user generated
advertisements, forum discussions, comments on advertisement pages, comments on
guestbook pages, and private messages. We cannot control the behaviour of the users in our
community. However, our administrators and moderators are constantly monitoring the Simple
Spot community to help ensure your safety. We are not to be held liable for any losses, financial
losses, or any other damages which may arise through the use of Simple Spot services.
